Fact or Fantasy’s Season 1 Finale: The Harry Potter Series Rankings

"You'll stay with me?" asked Harry. "Until the very end," said James. The time has come to close out the inaugural season of Chase & Josh: Fact or Fantasy and what a ride it has been. This amazing journey began by opening up our show with the Marvel Cinematic Universe movie rankings, to jumping into space taking part in the Star Wars, then spinning off to the Outer Rim with Mando, to tossing a coin to our Witcher in the valley of plenty, followed by surviving The Long Night #ForTheThrone, to heading out west while questioning the nature of our reality with our favorite lifelike hosts, and finally wrapping up this wild first season by attending Hogwarts, learning some magic and saving the Wizarding World with Harry, Ron & Hermione. The Riddikulus Crew wanted to conclude Season 1 by doing something special and delivering a fan-favorite rankings episode, which would bring everything full circle (something we are quite fond of here at Fact or Fantasy) finishing exactly how we started or "opening at the close". In this episode, Chase & Josh put together 10 categorized rankings and defend their selections in this can't miss season finale! So follow along one last time for this season and see what you agree or disagree with as we bring this epic Harry Potter arc to an end in style. Thank you so much for being the shields that guard the realms of fantasy, for all the support and loyalty, for bringing this from an unknown fun hobby to a globally ranked podcast, and most importantly, thank you for making us a part of your life with the time you've spent listening to Chase & Josh: Fact or Fantasy. We'll catch you all down the road for Season 2, but in the words of our favorite Marauders, all that's left to say about Season 1 is.... "Mischief Managed."

Harry Potter & the Deathly Hallows: Highlighted Key Differences Between the Novel and Film Part 2

"Mr. Ollivander, one last thing, and then we'll let you get some rest. What do you know about the Deathly Hallows?" "The ---- the what?" asked the wandmaker, looking utterly bewildered. "The Deathly Hallows." "I'm afraid I don't know what you're talking about. Is this still something to do with wands?" -Page 498. Thank you for joining us as we close out the final episode pertaining to Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows as today we highlight, detail and evaluate the major differences between Chapters 25 through the Epilogue of the novel, and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 film! It's been a long time coming and the end of the arc is finally here, as the Riddikulus Crew sound off on what they liked, disliked and absolutely hated about the film adaptation of the novel. So many differences to discuss, and we touch on all the big ones; with Ollivander apparently knowing about the Deathly Hallows, whose idea flying out of Gringotts on a dragon was, Voldemort apparently feeling when his Horcruxes were destroyed, Sirius' mirror debacle and so much more. So have some fun with this one because you're getting vintage Chase & Josh as they hold nothing back. With the film omitting Aberforth's story about his sister, omitting Percy's reunion with his family, leaving out the majority of Snape's memories, Harry snapping the Elder Wand in half without repairing his own wand, and Voldemort turning to dust, there is no shortage of contradictions. With just the bonus episode remaining after this, you can't afford to miss out! As stated on Page 693, "Ron and Hermione seemed a long way away, in a far-off country; he felt as though he had parted from them long ago. There would be no good-byes and no explanations, he was determined of that. This was a journey they could not take together, and the attempts they would make to stop him would waste valuable time."

Interesting Facts with Chase: Bonus Episode Part 9 Harry Potter & The Deathly Hallows (Chapter 34-Epilogue)

On the last episode of "Interesting Facts with Chase", Chase breaks down what happened to some of our favorite heroes that were not part of The Golden Trio 19 years after the Battle of Hogwarts. Including favorites such as Cho Chang, Dudley Dursley, and Luna Lovegood. Who is the current Minister of Magic that began her role in 2019? "Parked all right, then?" Ron asked Harry. "I did. Hermione didn't believe I could pass a Muggle driving test, did you? She thought I'd have to Confund the examiner." "No, I didn't," said Hermione, "I had complete faith in you." "As a matter of fact, I did Confund him," Ron whispered to Harry, as together they lifted Albus's trunk and owl onto the train. "I only forgot to look in the wing mirror, and let's face it, I can use a Supersensory Charm for that." ((pg. 755) (Harry Potter & The Deathly Hallows)) Closing out the episode Chase breaks down some of the most sought after Patronuses! Cho Chang's Swan Patronus, J. K. Rowling's Patronus and our very own JNelly AKA Josh's Patronus! Now is the time to say goodbye to our heroes. Learn what the cast of our Golden Trio is doing today, including Emma Watson, Daniel Radcliffe, and Rupert Grint. Albus, Rose, Hugo and Lily laughed. The train began to move, and Harry walked alongside it, watching his son's thin face, already ablaze with excitement. Harry kept smiling and waving, even though it was like a little bereavement, watching his son glide away from him... The last trace of steam evaporated in the autumn air. The train rounded a corner. Harry's hand was still raised in farewell. As Harry looked at her, he lowered his hand absentmindedly and touched the lightning scar on his forehead. "I know he will." The scar had not pained Harry for nineteen years. All was well. ((pg. 759) (Harry Potter & The Deathly Hallows)) The Cloak of Invisibility has been kept, the Elder Wand has been returned, and the Resurrection Stone has been abandoned. "I'm putting the Elder Wand," he told Dumbledore, who was watching him with enormous affection and admiration, "back where it came from. It can stay there. If I die a natural death like Ignotus its power will be broken, won't it? The previous master will never have been defeated. That'll be the end of it." Dumbledore nodded. They smiled at each other. ((pg. 749) (Harry Potter & The Deathly Hallows)) "That wand's more trouble than it's worth," said Harry. "And quite honestly," he turned away from the painted portraits, thinking now only of the four-poster bed lying waiting for him in Gryffindor Tower, and wondering whether Kreacher might bring him a sandwich there, "I've had enough trouble for a lifetime." ((pg. 749) (Harry Potter & The Deathly Hallows)) Thank you for being the shields that guard the realms of fantasy, and being with Chase and Josh as they have embarked on this incredible journey with Harry, Ron and Hermione. Interesting Facts with Chase has opened at the close for the Harry Potter ride or die arc, but for "Chase & Josh: Fact or Fantasy" it is not a goodbye, but a see you later...

In the words of Harry Potter, "There are no more Horcruxes. It's just you and me. Neither can live while the other survives, and one of us is about to leave for good. . . ."
