Harry Potter & the Goblet of Fire: Review & Evaluation Part 5 (Chapter 29-Chapter 33)

"You are in luck, Wormtail," said a cold, high-pitched voice from the depths of the chair in which the owl had landed. "You are very fortunate indeed. Your blunder has not ruined everything. He is dead." Thank you for returning as always as the Riddikulus Crew ventures forward towards the climax of book 4, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire! Today we will be discussing Chapter 29, The Dream through Chapter 33, The Death Eaters. Some of the biggest aspects of the plot appear in this section today with the fateful dream in divination class, the third task preparations, inside the maze and the seizing of the Triwizard Cup! Chase & Josh take you on a tour of these chapters while simultaneously dissecting the impact moments, foreshadowed events and interesting facts that you have come to know and love. With an inside look at the events that transpire in the maze, the conclusion of the tournament, the surprise that the Triwizard Cup holds, the tragic ending of a fan-favorite character and a certain potion/spell that brings about the return of a horrifying figure, YOU CANNOT MISS THIS EPISODE! As stated on Page 643 of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, "The thin man stepped out of the cauldron, staring at Harry . . . and Harry stared back into the face that had haunted his nightmares for three years. Whiter than a skull, with wide, livid scarlet eyes and a nose that was flat as a snake's with slits for nostrils . . . Lord Voldemort had risen again."

Harry Potter & the Goblet of Fire: Review & Evaluation Part 4 (Chapter 22-Chapter 28)

"Harry had taken his first step back toward Gryffindor Tower when something else on the map caught his eye . . . something distinctly odd. Peeves was not the only thing that was moving. A single dot was flitting around a room in the bottom left-hand corner ---- Snape's office. But the dot wasn't labeled "Severus Snape" . . . it was Bartemius Crouch." The Riddikulus Crew welcomes you back as we head into the back half of Harry Potter and The Goblet of Fire, giving you the detailed analysis you've come to know and love. There are so many subjects, events and moments that set this particular novel apart from the rest of the Harry Potter series and this episode hits on a good amount of them! We begin to see the pangs of adolescence right away as Chase & Josh tackle Chapter 22, 'The Unexpected Task' through Chapter 28, 'The Madness of Mr. Crouch'. From the Yule Ball, to secrets of our favorite Care of Magical Creature teacher revealed, to a bath with an egg, love is in the air in this spicy new installment of the series. Fact or Fantasy is grateful to have wonderful followers such as yourself that love to stick with us as we get into the nitty gritty. With finding dates to the dance, to Cedric repaying a debt, to the return of a fan favorite godfather, the Triwizard Tournament's second task, to an attack in the night, you just have to tune in. In the words of Mr. Crouch, "Don't . . . leave . . . me!" he whispered, his eyes bulging again. "I . . . escaped . . . must warn . . . must tell . . . see Dumbledore . . . my fault . . . all my fault . . . Bertha . . . dead . . . all my fault . . . my son . . . my fault . . . tell Dumbledore . . . Harry Potter . . . the Dark Lord . . . stronger . . . Harry Potter . . ."

"The fire in the goblet had just turned red again. Sparks were flying out of it. A long flame shot suddenly in the air, and borne upon it was another piece of parchment. Automatically, it seemed, Dumbledore reached out a long hand and seized the parchment. He held it out and stared at the name written upon it. There was a long pause, during which Dumbledore stared at the slip in his hands, and everyone in the room stared at Dumbledore. And then Dumbledore cleared his throat and read out --- "Harry Potter."" Fact or Fantasy fanatics, we are officially at the halfway point for Harry Potter & the Goblet of Fire! There's a lot to unpack in this installment as Chase & Josh take you through some of the most pivotal moments in this book. From the arrival of the foreign students, to the choosing of the champions, to the impartial judge being hoodwinked, there's so much that really sets the tone for how this novel plays out. So thanks for continuing on this ride and diving in deep as the Riddikulus Crew explores some of the key aspects of things not seen in previous or future books throughout this series. With friendship being pushed to the brink, being introduced to a pesky journalist, the first social justice reform group and the Triwizard Tournament's first task, there's too many impactful occurrences you can't miss! In the words of Bartemius Crouch, "We must follow the rules, and the rules state clearly that those people whose names come out of the Goblet of Fire are bound to compete in the tournament."
